We at More Than Opera are very proud to announce that our founding Artistic Director and AD of the German-Australian Opera grant Dr. David I Kram has been honoured with a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to the performing arts, opera, choral music, and education. An article in ABC News featured his award among others from Central Victoria.

 

We congratulate David wholeheartedly and Dr Kram is extremely appreciative of all those he’s interacted with across his career, but reserves a special thank you to the wonderful donors and sponsors who’ve contributed to MTO. The contribution MTO has made to opera, since its founding by Dr Kram in September 2000, was a significant factor in his successful nomination for an Australian Award.
